The creation of MEPEC goes back to early 2018 as a result of an initiative by a citizen who wanted to offer more services to the English-speaking population of the Montérégie region. In April 2018, CHSSN (Community Health and Social Services Network), funded by Health Canada, was authorized to create a new Network and Partnership Initiative (NPI) in the Montérégie East region. A 6-person board of directors was created and incorporated in October 2018. MEPEC became the 22nd NPI in Quebec and, since January 2019 has hired three employees to fulfill its mission.
As a member of MEPEC, you support our efforts to serve and promote the health, well-being, and vitality of the English-speaking community.
