Get help navigating Montérégie East’s health care system and connecting with the programs or services you’re looking for.

Finding Health and Social Services

To find a family doctor, you need to put your name on the waiting list. There are three ways to register:

La Place 0-5 ans is the gateway to daycare spaces in Québec—subsidized and unsubsidized daycares, facilities-based daycares and home-based daycares recognized by a coordinating office. If you are a parent looking for a daycare space, LaPlace0-5.com facilitates your search with its overview of daycares.

Community and Social Service Resources 2-1-1 is a free, confidential information navigation service that connects people to critical government and community-based health and social services.

Centre intégré de santé et des services sociaux de la Montérégie Est is the public agency responsible for administering health and social services in the Montérégie East region.

Free, confidential advice and referral for health and social services.

Here to Help video series - CISSS de la Montérégie Centre

The CISSS de la Montérégie-Centre has produced the “Here to Help” video series to promote alternatives to the emergency room.  They present different resources, explain when to use them, and how assess and manage symptoms or minor health problems.

There are fifteen videos with English subtitles covering the following topics:

The Régie de l’assurance maladie du Québec (RAMQ)

The RAMQ is Quebec’s health care plan. Through the RAMQ, the province pays for many of the health services you may need.  All you need to do is present your card at the doctor’s office, hospital, clinic or Centre local de services communautaire (CLSC). Find out HERE what the RAMQ covers.
